SOCIAL GROUP FOR ADOLESCENCE WITH ASPERGER’S SYNDROME
AGES 13-16

Therapeutic group facilitated by NYS licensed Social Worker designed to help
participants to increase and refine their social skills in a supportive and fun
environment! Emphasis will be on peer interaction, decision making, and
reducing social anxiety.

When: Sessions to be held on Tuesdays 6:30-8:00 pm starting March 6, 2012

Where:  Crossroads Counseling Center
First Building, upstairs office
440 Furrows Road, Holbrook NY

Cost: 10 Week Sessions; $10 per session or $80 if paid in advance.

(Insurance reimbursement available)

Parent session will be held during the socialization group. Topics may include
medication therapy, education and career planning, behavior modification,
nutrition and diet. Guest professionals in the fields of psychology, nutrition,
nursing and politics will be invited to present relevant information and answer
questions. There will be no charge for the parent group but a free will donation
will be accepted.
